How Udacity Saved My Life!

A few months ago, I started my own business which sells office products designed specifically to tell the story of the Saudi heritage in a modern way. So far, I am learning by trial and error and everything seems manageable. And marketing is the key activity that I am focused on to create brand awareness.

However, I felt that I lacked the knowledge to effectively market my products, which is a major complication for the business’s success. I do not know how to utilize social media presence or attract new followers. I have no idea about promotions, advertising, or collaborating with influencers. I feel that there is a lot on my plate and this lack of knowledge distracted me from performing other managerial duties. I asked friends and family for advice, but it is not enough. I believe that I need a one-to-one education on the best marketing practices and specifically in digital marketing. The question that kept me awake at night is: How am I going to attend school with the overwhelming duties of the business? Will I be able to go to classes and close the business for a few hours until I come back? Should I hire assistance and bear extra costs at the early stages of operations?

Until I heard of Udacity’s “Digital Marketing Nanodegree Program,” that provides students with the necessary tools and expertise to effectively use social media in marketing activities. This course is designed in a way that allows students to study at their own pace while benefiting from the weekly virtual classes and mixing with other fellow students. Since I started the course three weeks ago, I have been learning a lot about digital marketing and how to use social media in a better way. I still have more to learn but it has been very helpful so far.

I wish that every person struggling with digital marketing activities and looking for a program that is well-structured while having the flexibility of attendance to register in Udacity’s “Digital Marketing Nanodegree Program.” It has been a life-saver for me so far, and I am sure that many of you are looking for the same benefits that the program provides.
